ABAC SPINN5.5E 10 400/50K 200 E CE

Professional Screw Compressor designed to work all day.

Best price on the ABAC SPINN5.5E 10 400/50 200 E CE. Featuring a 200l tank with a 5.5Kw motor, this compressor is designed for a 100% duty cycle from the outset; this screw compressor is designed to reliably deliver compressed air all day. It features very low noise and vibration levels. The Drive Transmission is highly efficient, leading to low maintenance and excellent reliability. It features a start delta starter, which reduces initial stress on the compressor; it allows a gradual buildup of power to the compressor. With a built-in dryer, this unit is perfect for environments where a dry air supply is needed, for example, spray painting; in addition, it is also suitable for use in a wide range of environments with ease, including:

  • Metalworking
  • Woodworking
  • Stone working
  • Sandblasting
  • Manufacturing

The SPINN range offers a significant positive performance differential compared to other brands. They are both efficient in energy consumption and compact in design. It also offers exceptional condensation prevention.

Benefits when compared to piston compressors include.

  • Low noise levels unit can be positioned very close to the point of use, reducing piping costs.
  • Reduced power consumption. The unit uses advanced compression technology to generate air more efficiently.
  • Doesn’t require cooling down periods and can be used all day long.
  • Higher quality air helps protect pneumatic tools. Very low oil carry typically less than 5 ppm, a piston compressor typically has a 30 ppm carryover.

The benefits of having a dryer unit are as follows:

  • Certain applications require one; for example, if you spray painting a car, you don’t want water in your system getting through the spray gun onto the paint finish.
  • Longer terms savings for users of air tools or equipment with metal internal moving parts; the removal of water removes the risk of corrosion and related damage in the long term.
  • Reduced maintenance: any water in the system requires the maintenance of the water separator.

How does it work?

The cold dryer contains a cooling machine with a heat exchanger, a refrigerated compressor and a cooling medium, in this case, refrigerant gas. The compressed air is cooled to somewhere between 0C and 6C; this causes condensation, which is then separated automatically. The dryer gives the compressed air a dew point between 3C and 10C; this temperature range is adequate to achieve condensation-free compressed air.
